About the MAC
The Montgomery Art Center was created in order to educate and inspire artistic creativity and to enrich the lives of people of all ages.
We strive to help the Montgomery community experience and engage with art and the artists who live and work here through exhibitions, art classes and workshops designed to educate and inspire an appreciation for the arts in the city of Montgomery.
OUR MISSION
The mission of The Montgomery Art Center (The MAC) is to provide a space where artists, and the public at large, can advance their knowledge and understanding of the creative process through the practice of art. We offer studio space for artists to explore and to hone their craft. Using artistic platforms as opportunities for empowerment, we help foster a progressive and tolerant community through self expression.

The vision of The MAC is to create an educational environment that provides opportunities, inspiration and tools to people of all ages and skill levels to participate in the arts. We offer community ongoing classes and workshops designed to enlighten and promote the creative spirit. We provide a professional environment where artists can exhibit and present the fruits of their labor to the public, thus providing an opportunity for community involvement and support for the arts in general.
